Radio Telephone

In 1908, Nathan B. Stubblefield of Murray, Kentucky created the first wireless telephone. In 1910 Lars Magnus Ericsson put a telephone in his car, although this was not a radio telephone. While driving across the country, Lars would stop at a place at telephone lines and by using a pair of long electric wires he could connect to the national telephone network. In Europe, the radio telephone was used on the first-class passenger trains between Berlin and Hamburg in 1926. During the same period in time, phones were being used on airplane towers. Later telephones were put in German tanks during World War Two The Germans were the first to make telephones on a large scale.
